Feels like home. George is great, making everyone feel like a neighbor. Prices are great. Perfect place to watch a game, toast with a cold beer, and have a great meal. Come as you are makes the comfortable atmosphere a favorite for us!

I found this place by searching for deals on restaurant.com and this was 1 of 2 restaurants on there in the Traverse City area. The menu seemed to have a wide variety so I decided to buy it & see what happens. We walked in with 2 people sitting at the bar and nobody behind the bar. The sign said seat yourself so we did. About 10 min later I decided to walk up to the bar to get menus. The girl working was very apologetic and said she didn't even know we were there. They apparently use Northwoods cola instead of coke or pepsi. I couldn't drink it, the taste was just off to me and our server was kind enough to swap it out for their version of sprite. I was very thankful! They seem to have a little bit of everything on the menu - salads to burritos to sandwiches and more. I decided to try the nachos & got the full order because it was only $1 more than the half. It was seriously huge. I got 2 meals out of it with some left over! My friend had a chicken wrap that she said was pretty good and then we got the fried Reese's PB cup because we had to meet a specific dollar amt for the coupon. That was an interesting dessert for sure, worth a try. We didn't even touch the ice cream that came with it because we were so full. The place has a dive bar kind off feel and you can still smell the cigarette smoke from years ago but overall it was a decent choice. Good food, cheap prices.

Dive bar. Cold beer. Free popcorn. We were served remarkably bad food in great quantities. We didn't order the signature pizza and in fairness it's a pizza joint. If you're on a snowmobile and thirsty, cold and starving-- hit it. If you're searching for a cool dive bar -- don't bother. It's a dump on the inside and out.

To those who think this place is a "shabby dive bar", I guess that's the way we in the Forest Lakes region, like it. I don't want to walk in a place, sit at the bar and see someone wearing a suit & tie next to me. I want to see someone in a fishing hat & t-shirt. This place has cold beer & great pizza. What else is needed? And if you don't like their selection of soft drinks, why are you in a bar? This is a bar that serves good food, not a restaurant that serves alcohol. If you are in either of these categories, either stay in town or go back down state. That way I won't have to stand in line next time.

We had a great pizza and Calzone the other day there at Peegeo's. It was fabulous. Great place, great people, great value! Love Peegeo's!

YES, it's a dump, BUT what great burgers and pizza. You must check out the dinner menue, the "London Broil" is to die for. Best in northern MI.

Wings? Yes. Pizza? Yes. Everything else? Meh. Try the charbroil wings followed by a slice of taco 'za. And that there is a winning meal. Worth the drive. (Wander the curves and take in the chain-of-lake views.)

What a DUMP!!! Small dirty dive bar with a line out the door. What a shame, could be a great place if they tear it down and start new. When you park you see the back doors open and the help standing around smoking. Sad

I had Calzone on the mind and made the trip out to Peegeo's from the West side for the best in TC! All the right fixings, size, temp and flavor. Wish I had taken a foto -- it was beautiful too! Great place!

had to try peegeos because of all the recommendations. I just didn't see the "allure" of this dive. It's just a bar, and a tired, shabby, dirty bar at that. there were decades old dirt, crumbs, and bits of trash on the floor, under the soda box/frig and around the games. tried the pizza, and it was loaded with toppings - most would love that; i wanted to taste some cheese, which i could not. the crust was flimsy and could not hold so much tops plus the crust was wet/soaked with liquid from the veggies. a complete disaster. flavor was practically nil, a limp, sad, pie. i will not recommend peegeos, but do know of a better p-pizza place in town. it knows what a true pizza pie is.

They have the best chicken wings in Traverse City! Order the "Extra Hot" sauce...it really isn't terribly spicy, it's just right. The wings are cooked with the perfect amount of cripsy and prices aren't bad either, much cheaper than Buffalo Wild Wings. I think 10 wings are $7.

After passing right by, at 8 o'clock at night due to our GPS not being spot on we were able to locate this place which appeared to be located amongst a bunch of residences. We gather this is a bit of a local watering hole, but it was quite busy for Thursday night. They have an extensive menu, with Mexican, pizza's, appetizers and SMALL desert menu. I would classify the ambience as sports / outdoorsy and somewhat pub-style which I like. The have a popcorn machine so that you can eat popcorn while you drink. There were several dishes we wanted to try, but we did not get the Firecrackers appetizer that I wanted. We started with the appetizer combo which had potato skins, wings, cheese curds, poppers, and a buffalo dip. I liked the potato skins where my partner did not, because of the potato to skin ratio which I like very little and she likes more. The buffalo dip was great, and the poppers had a nice crispy coating. We couldn't quite tell what the Mexican wing flavor was, but suspect that it was a frank's hot sauce base. Our first main course was her choice and it was a HUGE mistake. The Mac Daddy G sandwich is mac & cheese, BBQ sauce, chips and bacon between two pieces of grilled bread. It sound's interesting because it is. It was not bad in the way it was done, but it is definitely for a selective taste. I ate my half first, and she took one bite and needless to say could not eat it. Not bad in the sense of it was not cooked or anything, just not to our taste. Our second meal was a redeemer with the Chicken Cherry wrap which was excellent and made up for the previous. Overall, we enjoy our time there and would probably go back a second time to try a couple other items on the menu. Prices are good, and the location is a little off the beaten path.

First time here earlier this month. It is southeast of Traverse City and located in close proximity to half a dozen lakes. A little dark on the inside. We sat outside on a new deck and a local musician was just setting up. Had some pot stickers and wings for apps and ordered a couple of pies to go. The pot stickers were okay and maybe a little overpriced. The wings were half charred and half spicy. The charred wings were fantastic ( I like burned stuff). Both pizzas were very good but a little expensive. I would say this is a go to place in my book and that is what we will do the next time we are in TC,

Friendly service, great chicken wings and pizza! Pizza took a little while to come out but it was worth the wait. If you are a ranch lover, you won't be disappointed! There is free popcorn to munch on while you are waiting too, which was fun!

It was a busy Wednesday in August. It's a seat yourself bar and restaurant so if you have a group of 4 or more I suggest arriving a little early. Our server was slammed but she made sure our two kids 3 and 6 had plenty to with which to stay occupied and our drinks stayed full. Pizza is still the best in Grand Traverse County for that old school Pizzeria style pie. They had other sandwiches and a some creative ideas for the menu. We had the super deluxe pizza and a Greek salad. Easily enough for 3 adults with a take out box for late night or cold breakfast pizza. Great spot, just out of town. Owners were bussing tables and the place had a comfortable vibe plenty televisions to see the Tigers play (I guess that's what they are calling it). For a bar and casual spot it garners 5 stars. Clean, attentive and well prepared food and service.

Generally speaking, my reviews have a trend. I am a self proclaimed ranch enthusiast. I admit.... I judge establishments based on the quality and delishiousness of their ranch dressing. You want 5 stars? Make your ranch in house and make it right. Okay... So here's how it went down. Horrible week at work and it's finally Friday. How to unwind? Pizza and beer, obvi. Let's try something new, the hubs says. So he finds this gem. This hole in the wall, out in the middle of no where, quaint little establishment. Dive, check. Snow machines galore, check. Cold beer, check. AMAZING pizza, double check. Lip smacking good ranch: OH YES!! We'll be back. And we'll be adventurous enough to try the Mac Daddy pizza....

We ordered pizza, cheesy garlic bread and wings and were pretty disappointed. We ordered the hottest wings and they were regular at best...not spicy at all. The pizza was okay...but the canned mushrooms ruined it. The crust was good, but toppings needed help. The cheesy bread was excellent however, not sure if it's worth it to return for though..

This place is divey, but wonderful. The value for the food is unbelievable, I personally think best in the Traverse City area. Service can be hit or miss, but the food is always great. The owner is always around checking on the diners and assisting the servers. He's a great guy.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
